Modern chromatography systems from Waters and Agilent are used in our analytical labs. In addition to a classic UV/VIS (PDA) detector, all Waters H-Class UPLC systems are also equipped with a QDa detector (single MS) for mass spectrometric determination. The Agilent 1260 HPLC systems including DAD (UV/VIS) detectors complement the equipment and are particularly suitable for routine methods in the QC area. Precise stability chambers allow us to make reliable stability predictions based on accelerated stability studies.
In addition to modern equipment, sample preparation requires a great deal of knowledge, experience and skill, especially for semi-solid formulations.

We use various types of homogenizers and stirrers for lab-scale formulation design and manufacturing. Our main tools for physical characterization are microscopy and rheology, using the Anton Paar MCR102 high performance rheometer. A safety weighing cabinet allows us to handle highly active substances.
In vitro release (IVRT) and permeation (IVPT) studies are performed on the Teledyne Hanson Robotic Diffusion Station (RDS).
